Terms & Conditions​​

Kite Praso Watersport Centre

By booking lessons, renting equipment, or participating in any activity with Kite Praso, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General

Kite Praso operates watersport activities including kitesurfing, wing foiling, surfing, and equipment rentals in Prasonisi, Rhodes, Greece. All activities are subject to weather conditions, safety considerations, and local regulations.

Participation is entirely at your own risk.

2. Eligibility & Responsibility

  • Participants must be able to swim confidently

  • Minimum age depends on the activity, conditions, and instructor approval

  • Minors must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian

  • Participants must follow all instructions given by Kite Praso staff

  • Kite Praso reserves the right to refuse service if safety rules are not respected

3. Lessons

  • Lesson schedules depend on weather and wind conditions

  • Progress varies from person to person; no specific outcome or skill level is guaranteed

  • Individual lessons offer the fastest and safest progression

  • Semi-private and group lessons involve shared equipment

  • Kite Praso may adjust lesson formats if required for safety or efficiency

  • Lessons may be paused or rescheduled due to unsuitable conditions

All kite and wing lessons include:

  • Necessary equipment

  • Equipment insurance (lesson use only)

  • Professional instruction

  • IKO certification (where applicable)

4. Rentals

  • Equipment rental is allowed only for independent riders, at the discretion of Kite Praso

  • Renting equipment without proven ability is not permitted

  • Rented equipment must be used only within designated areas

  • Subleasing or sharing rental equipment is strictly forbidden

  • Equipment must be returned in the condition received (normal wear accepted)

Kite Praso reserves the right to terminate rentals without refund if safety rules are violated.

5. Damage & Insurance

  • Optional damage insurance may be purchased for rentals

  • Insurance covers damage caused during normal and responsible use

  • Insurance does not cover negligence, misuse, loss, or theft

  • Without insurance, participants are fully responsible for any damage or loss

  • Damage assessment is made solely by Kite Praso staff

6. Weather & Cancellations

  • Kite Praso cannot be held responsible for weather-related cancellations

  • Lessons or rentals affected by weather may be:

    • Rescheduled

    • Credited

    • Converted into vouchers (valid for 12 months)

  • No refunds are given for unused time due to weather, fatigue, or personal reasons

7. Payments & Pricing

  • All prices are per person, unless stated otherwise

  • Payments must be completed before or at the time of service

  • Rental packs and lesson packages are non-transferable

  • Deposits or retained amounts may be applied where agreed (e.g. staff, long-term bookings)

  • Kite Praso reserves the right to change prices without prior notice

8. Try Before You Buy Program

  • Rental costs may be deducted only from the purchase price of the same item

  • Deduction does not apply to other equipment rented

  • Conditions and limits may apply and are set by Kite Praso

​

9. Safety & Liability

  • Watersports involve inherent risks including injury, equipment damage, or loss

  • Kite Praso, its staff, and partners are not liable for:

    • Personal injury

    • Loss or damage of personal belongings

    • Accidents occurring outside supervised activities

  • Participants confirm they are medically fit to take part

10. Local Rules & Spot Regulations

  • Participants must respect local laws and spot regulations

  • Kiting in restricted areas or outside allowed times is forbidden

  • Failure to comply may result in termination of service without refund

11. Photography & Media

  • Kite Praso may take photos or videos during activities

  • These may be used for promotional purposes unless explicitly refused in writing

​

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall fall under Greek jurisdiction.

13. Acceptance

By booking a lesson, renting equipment, or participating in any activity, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

  • Accept them fully

  • Agree to comply with all safety rules and instructions
